Sendari is a YouTube description tool. This policy covers three groups of people. What we collect depends on which group you are in.
When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account name, email address and profile picture. We request access to your YouTube video catalog so we can read and update descriptions, playlists and related metadata. We do not request YouTube Analytics access.
While you are signed in we keep a session on our servers. That session record can include the IP address and browser user agent of the device you used to sign in. We also store account settings such as timezone and locale and records of your campaigns, messages and activity in the product.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not receive your full payment card details.
In production we load Simple Analytics on the public marketing site and on the signed-in dashboard. The script is served from a Sendari domain. Marketing visits tell us which public pages are used. Dashboard visits tell us which product pages are used after you sign in.
Simple Analytics documents that it does not set cookies, does not use local storage or fingerprinting and does not collect or store IP addresses. It drops the IP address from each request. According to their documentation, a page view may include the page URL path, referring site, UTM parameters, time zone used as a country-level signal, an anonymized user agent, screen and viewport size, browser language, scroll depth, time on page and short-lived identifiers kept in memory for the current page load. Those identifiers are not stored on your device and reset when you reload or leave.
By default Simple Analytics ignores browsers that send a Do Not Track signal. Our script does not change that default. We do not send custom Simple Analytics events today. If we add them we will update this policy first.
Simple Analytics states that this page-view measurement does not require a consent banner. That is their position. It is not legal advice and it does not apply to click tracking described below. You can read what they collect at docs.simpleanalytics.com/data-collection.
We use these metrics to understand how the site and product are used. We do not use them to identify you as a person, to serve ads or to sell data. We do not send Google account data, YouTube data or Sendari account content to Simple Analytics.
If a creator turns on URL tracking, links in a YouTube description are replaced with short redirect links on a Sendari-operated domain. If you click one of those links, the tracking service records the click and then sends you to the destination. This applies even if you never visit the Sendari website and never create an account.

The tracking service uses a session cookie on its own domain so it can group clicks from the same browser. That cookie is separate from Simple Analytics and separate from Sendari login cookies. The tracking service does not use Simple Analytics' cookieless design. IP address, user agent, referrer and a session cookie can be personal data.
The creator who owns the campaign can see click stats in the dashboard, including device, browser, operating system and a rough location inferred from browser language. We store IP addresses even though the dashboard does not show them. We do not look up location from IP. This click data is not anonymous.
We run click tracking to provide link analytics to Sendari users. We do not use link-viewer data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Sendari and the click tracker use cookies. Simple Analytics does not set cookies according to its documentation.

Account data, YouTube metadata and billing records for this application are stored and processed on OVH servers in Strasbourg, France. Click records are stored by Sendari's tracking service. Simple Analytics stores its page-view metrics according to its own documentation, including EU-based providers.

These providers may only use the data to provide their service to us. We will never transfer your Google user data to third parties for advertising, selling to data brokers, determining credit-worthiness or any purpose not directly related to providing or improving Sendari's features.
Sendari uses the YouTube API Services. By using Sendari you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
We keep account data while your account is open and as needed to run the service, meet legal duties and resolve disputes.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your information from this application within 30 days. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period and will not be used for another purpose.
Click records are stored by a separate tracking service so creators can see campaign stats. Deleting a Sendari account does not by itself identify people who clicked a public link. Email us if you want click records removed. We will help when we can locate them. A creator's deletion request covers click records stored for that creator's campaigns. We will process that request, including by hand if automation is not in place yet.
We have not published a fixed auto-delete period for click records.

Account holders can delete their account from settings or email us. YouTube access is required to use Sendari. There is no optional analytics scope to turn off. Link viewers can email us to request deletion of click records. We may need extra information to locate a click record because viewers do not need a Sendari account.
